Pretty funny that that judge was the Brit.

Yes, it appears Brit's are less biased than Americans.

Porter is a poor man's Aaron Pryor and he looked clueless about what to do when held by Brook. When your best and only effective punches were at the back of the head, you ain't that good.
And Brook will wipe the floor with chinny Khan no problem.
          A very ,very,poor man

All the judges watched the same fight. But the one who scored it a draw did a much better job of rationally and strictly applying the scoring criteria used to judge professional boxing matches.

Brook lost the 1st half of the fight by a landslide. As did Porter the 2nd half.

Very few people agree with you. It looked like a dominant Brook performance to me, and seemingly to the Showtime commentators too. They started off clearly expecting a Porter victory but were won over by the much more effective work from Brook.

Porter was amped & frenetic, but also wild, sloppy and unacceptably ineffective. Most people I've spoken to agree it was 8-4 to Brook, and most of them were on Porter's side expecting him to dominate.

Bottom line... Porter's a pressure fighter. For all his (considerable) strengths he's actually quite limited. He was able to apply pressure to both Alexander & Malignaggi and they came unstuck. Against a super-calm, superior boxer that pressure didn't count for much. Without it Porter is much more average than he was credited to be. He reminds me of small Jeff Lacy. I doubt he can win another title at WW.

4 people of those asked had Porter winning by MORE than two points??!!! That is unreal!!

How anybody can watch that fight and only score Kell Brook as winning three or four of the 12 rounds is beyond me.

It's probably got something to do with Porter being a Haymon fighter at a Golden Boy event in Los Angeles (where ODLH lives), with a biased ref and obviously partisan media. I'm surprised Kell didn't get robbed, but that's probably owing to the fact that every reasonable fan knows he dominated Shawn.

Brook didnt lose the first half by a landslide. He probably won the first 6 rounds 4-2 and the second 6 rounds 4-2.

He was in control the entire fight.

Before the fight i believed he was over hyped but then as I was watching I realised that was really even more than case than I originally believed.

I think he should count himself lucky to have ever become world champion and I will be extremely surprised if he ever gets a belt again!!

fight must also feel that Maidana won the fight versus Floyd because the fights looked very similar from my vantage point. Both losing combatants were ultra agressive but woefully inaffective and were out boxed by the more precise puncher with better defense, ring generalship and seemingly a better boxing IQ.
The guy you are responding to clearly trolling. Don't give that clowns comments too much thought.
