Kovalev clearly punches harder than GGG, and he actually wears regular gloves to accomplish it.

GGG probably hits 75% as hard, but every single one of his shots is that hard. A guy like Kovalev gets his power from leverage, so he needs distance and positioning to pull it off. GGG can fire from any distance and hurt you. Kovalev can take you out, but he needs to plant his feet first.

Adonis Stevenson probably hits harder than both of them, but he very clearly has to plant his feet, widen his stance and drop his rear knee to unload with full power (this is the Emanuel Steward method).

      Pure force:
      Stevenson
      Kovalev
      GGG

      Force with Snap:
      Kovalev
      GGG
      Stevenson

Different divisions so only one way to find out....Wilder at 160 and 175, GGG at 175 and 200, Kov at 160 and 200. Make it happen but my guess it that it's all a wash, what do you guys think?

Weight class for weight class.......maybe GGG, they all say he punches way hard but let the KO%'s speak for themselves I guess.

GGG's punch delivery generates a lot of his power in my opinion. Yes he is very heavy handed but he throws with great power technique as well.

Wilder has a very pretty record on paper and going by KO %, but he's fought a bunch of complete nobodies so it's hard gauge his power. If he somehow gets Stiverne out of there, I think that'll give us a better idea how good his power is. Kovalev's competition hasn't been out of this world but it's pretty decent and we can at least see he's a big time hitter. Interested to see how 'Nard takes his shots. I'd say GGG is the more proven fighter and probably has the most power at this point.

Well why are you going to make a list of Big KO punchers when you're not going to include Ali Raymi?

21 fights, 21 KOs.....all in the first round against undefeated opposition.

Why didn't you include him? He had the top 3 spots on lock

Different types of power. GGG has that sharp, precise power. Kovalev that clubbing type of power and Wilder has concussive power. You cant compare them.

GGG KOs people who have never been KOed before...
Wilder KOs people who has multiple losses and happen to be part timers to the sport and have previously been sparked out before.

I guess TS has took into consideration that A Deontay is bigger (HW) and B He is black and both GGG and SK are white so they have to be rated below Wilder on punching power off that basis.
