I think that's what it was. TR feels Korobov has a legit chance at beating Quillin but they don't want to invest in him. He's like a drone they sent out and hope he hits the target.

It's really a win-win for them because Korobov is now going to get paid more than he deserves, he has a legit chance at beating Quillin, and even if he loses it's not that big of a loss for them cause Korobov was never going to headline a card anyway.
