He's still a really young guy, younger than PBF and Hatton. I guess what his team is trying to say is, i't better if he gets exposed when he's a little older and has more fights under him. I for one feel he is very capable of fighting and beating Hatton and PBF. I do wish he would step up his competition soon, and featherfisted Pauli is no step up.

You guys gotta remember, he's still young & hes only had 26 fights. Many fighters have 35 fights before they take on a title challenger. And Branco wasn't a pushover, Cotto is just that good.

yeah i know i don't why people still call him a prospect it's almost kind of like calling mayweather a "prospect" but my guess is that he's called a prospect because he's younger and doesn't have as many fights then hatton (who is considered the top guy at 140) and mayweather (who is considered the top p4p king and now fights at 140/147).

Don't worry guys, haters will always be haters, no matter what Cotto does or who he beats they will trash him. The thing is I don't understand why, Cotto is a humble guy that just goes out there and does his job, there is no reason to hate on him.

You may hate on Mayweather because of his arrogance, you may hate Hatton because you feel he's dirty(I love his rough style by the way), but Cotto?

Cotto is already starting to get known. I mean how can you hate on a boxer? What they do to you? I mean if you hate him then i probaly understand why...
