Comments Thread For: Marcos Maidana: What Will Mayweather Do? Move More?

Marcos Maidana (35-4, 32 KOs) believes he can make the necessary adjustments to defeat WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather (46-0, 26 KOs) on September 13th from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather won a majority decision over Maidana in May.

Mayweather promises to adjust for the rematch and says Maidana is not capable of switching up his style. [Click Here To Read More]

Floyd does box, but he pretty much beat maidana without boxing the first time. And he spent huge portions of that fight on the ropes. That's something that will change I'm this fight. Floyd will keep it in the center of the ring and try to negate a lot of Maidana's wrestling and pushing by fighting a mid range fight. I'm starting to think Maidana is severely underestimating Floyd which is funny, considering he lost the first fight.

Maybe. Or Maybe he'll just hit you with the cleaner shots AGAIN, like last time.

Maidana is the man and hes done his job in promoting the fight this time around(Im sure both parties made it clear this was neccessary) but if he seriously thinks floyd was moving alot in the first fight, hes going to be baffled in the rematch.

Perhaps Maidana hasn't seen the Guerrero fight. Floyd didn't allow himself to be on the ropes in that fight, everytime he was cornered he moved out of there. Expect that during this rematch
