Figueroa weaknesses go far beyond his hands, no defense, and gets out boxed very easily. And lefts face it he hasn't fought ANYONE ! Linares out box the cap out Figuroa. IMO he's the weakest champ out there he just lucky to be with Haymon only reason he's a champ

I'm wondering if anyone watched the Figueroa fight closely. Omar's defense is much better than before. Rarely was caught clean, usually moved away from the shots, in general alot better than any other fight I've seen him in as far as defense is concerned. I see a Linares fight 50/50, maybe even 60/40 Figueroa wins. Figueroa seems better at grinding his man down than Linares. But no matter, it would be a great fight.

Linares is mandatory, the Terry fight was just a keep busy one.
Love watching Linares, blazing handspeed and beautiful combinations. A spectacular offensive fighter but a flawed defensive one. Reminds me of Khan but with the addition of having paper-like skin.

Or he would get knocked out by Figueroa like he got knocked out in the first two rounds by Salgado and Thompson. Linares got a lot of skill but a weak chin. One big shot by Figueroa and he's done.
