    Daniel Jacobs

That was the first I'd heard Jacobs do commentary and I must say, I thought he was good.

Some fighters can be boring on commentary, but I thought Jacobs was fairly insightful and good to listen to. It's good to have guys on commentary who add to the fight, I thought Jacobs did that.

He didn't say much which isn't a bad thing, anything he did say had some substance. He didn't talk just to talk like a lot of commentators.

Malignaggi is better though, but I liked the decision to put Jacobs on instead this weekend, Paulie doesn't seem to like Porter all that much, can't imagine why.

Didn't think he added much tbh.

I wonder who's decision it was not to have him on. Was showtime worried he might be biased or did paulie not want to comment on a guy who destroyed him, would be awkward.

Paulie gives much more detailed insights and analysis, but Jacobs was pretty good last night. He's a solid alternative for the SHO crew.

Jacobs was weak on commentary. After the fight they asked him who won and he said "I really don't know". But then after the decision he was all like "the right man won". He had no insights or worthwhile opinions. Even worse than Andre Ward (although more likeable).

I just watched end of fight Showtime version on YouTube and I noticed that lol

He said the better man won with more effective clean punching but he said he didn't know who won before decision was announced
