Brook needs to get one more big win on his resume to make the Mayweather bout interesting.

Khan vs Brook is a bigger fight IN THE UK, than Brook vs Mayweather. Khan is a household name here in the UK, known by all the casuals and non-Boxing fans. They have legit beef too, which sells. Why wouldn't Mayweather wait for Khan to win his next fight vs Guerrero/Alexander (potentially) then fight him in May? More money to be made for him by fighting Khan than Brook, despite a title which he does not really care for.

Brook is also most likely fighting a mandatory this year too according to Hearn.

That's why Brook didn't get penalised for his excessive clinching last night -- because Mayweather didn't even mentioned Poster beforehand.

The ref told Porter "No hitting behind the head" like 20 times, but never took a point away or even gave a stern warning.

Also, when Porter rammed his head repeatedly in Brook's chest and rammed his shoulders into his stomach like a football tackle, the ref didn't say a damn thing. He would instead tell Brook to stop holding, when clearly Porter attempted to tackle Brook back to England the whole fight. He thought he was in his football days.

Bad style matchup. Will be a snoozefest. Both will just stand on the outside playing a game of "tag you're it". Not to mention both fighters have a low punch output. I'd rather see Floyd/Khan. Khan will make Floyd work.
