Syd Vanderpool is a bum. Robin Reid is a shot fighter, and win over Sheika isn't anything to build your leagcy on.

Jeff is a great fighter, no question about that.

Tonight would of taken a lot out of him, but he can still bounce back and dominate at 168.

You can't change what he did to Vanderpool, Reid etc.

It's just that nobody expected Joe to be able to roll back the years like that.

He is finished IMO. Another; less talented, less marketable Fernando Vargas after the De La Hoya fight.

im lacy's #1 fan i you have to give calzaghe credit. joe did what he had to win. use his experience and fast combinations and frustrate lacy to the point where lacy wasnt even throwing punches. i didn't think at all that lacy would lose but thats boxing. eventhough i hate calzaghe's slap style, he fought perfect and impressed me against a fighter like jeff.

wow. did u see vargas' last fight, he is far from done. and so is lacy, u cant announce someone done after losing.

To say that Lacy sucks is ******. He may not be that great but he has beaten some fighters in his short time. You must remember that Lacy is very very young as a pro fighter. He could still be growing, the lose being something that he could learn from. Point being is that he still has time and made a pretty penny or two already in his career. If a guy can make a living in this game then you must have atleast a little respect for him.

To Tarver is my dad. I bet that Lacy could make you his ***** in less than 10 seconds. So then you could change your name to I am Lacys *****, should you ever come face to face. But ofcourse you will never be in that situation, so I suppose that you will keep on with the abuse of Lacy.

I think what we learnt tonight is very simple, Jeff Lacy is not the great fighter that everyone thought he was going to become, he is only a good fighter.

People tend to get too excited when they see a puncher coming up who is physically very strong. It is the same with Sam Peter. There is someone else who I think people got too excited about his punching power early in his career and thought he was greater than he really was. I'm not going to say his name since it always starts controversy, but you guess

I will have to openly admit that I was picking Lacy. To all the Calzaghe fans congratulations, you were right.
