To the BuTHurts re: Brook & clinching.

Dude what ever fight Porter is in there will always be clinching, Mass cannot occupy the same space at the same time Porter is to blame, You cant press Ur head and body against ur opponent and expect him not to hold you so he down trip and fall over.

Be thankful for brook to catching him with a left hook or Stump him with a stiff Jab on in the way in so we can see some action. All porter was doing was using his body then tried to rabbit punch, real amateurish...

Re watch the tape : in the later rounds PORTER holds more than Brook, Both gloves wrapped around Brooks back and head laid on his chest with a showtime smile.

"thats his style doe" -- launching in missing with a punch, then clinch rabbit rabbit rabbit.

    GTFOH!

Exactly. People act like Porter's style is natural, and something any decent level boxer will stop easily.

"Why was he clinching so damn much!?" Because that ****'s impossible to stop, unless you wobble his bum rushing ass. Not even Floyd or Pac could stop that bum rushing style. You'd need Tito Trinidad type power to stop that bull crap.

Yeah. Porter lunged in with headbutts, held a lot to begin his attack, and then started punching after initiating the clinch. The holding was Porter's fault.

This is why I was impressed with the way Brook kept his composure, the bold...so true

            Porter has clinch-fests every fight.

All he does is lunge in with wild shots and his head down while crashing right into the opponents chest. Brook simply made him miss and then prevented his hold and hit nonsense. Porter was lost when he realised his bully tactics were accounted for.

Yes this is absolutely right, if you look at the last 3/4 fights, bar the Paulie one for obvious reasons, that Porter has been in, there's been excessive clinching. It's the only way to deal with this sort of pressure fighter, however as u say, in the latter half, it was Porter clinching more.

I was waiting for Porter to throw an uppercut the whole fight. It's such an ignored punch nowadays.. Smfh

Porter should've been deducted points for rabbit punching, headbutts, holding while hitting and holding.

Maidana and Rios do the same head leading garbage. Brook kept classy like Floyd did... ashame the refs didn't do their jobs about the rabbid punching in their fights but the right guys won.
