I don't see what the problem is here, Roach has always said good things about his fighters. Once they leave he doesn't have to worry about hurting their feelings, what is a trainer supposed to say? If Khan did indeed get dropped while Roach was training him Freddie isn't going to put that out in public he knows better.

All that being said I'm kind of torn on this, I'm sure if it happened before someone would have found out about it. Then again... Khan can get hit too hard when they dump water on him and he'd get knocked out so I'm not sure whether its true or not.
