Comments Thread For: Mariusz Wach Set To Finally Return on October 17th

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz "The Viking" Wach (27-1, 15 KO) will be finally back on the 17th of October in Dzierzoniow, Poland. The opponent will be announced soon. Wach has been inactive since a November 2012 decision loss to heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. Wach took a lot of punishment in the contest and it was nearly stopped in the later rounds. Afterwards, Wach tested positive for anabolic steroids and got hit with a suspension by the governing body in Germany. Since that time, a variety of issues have kept him on the shelf.

Agreed a solid win over a European level opponent should move him towards being a fledged contender again.
