Will the ref be fair to Bika tonight?

Sakio Bika deserved to win the first fight. He had points deducted for LEGAL punches to Anthony Dirrell's stomach.

It could have been a TKO win at one point when Dirrell went down from a body punch and probably would not have beaten the count.

Bika was also done wrong by the home ref in his fight with Andre Ward. He was repeatedly chastised, but the shady ref said nothing to Ward and let him get away with many fouls.

Ward and Hopkins are worse, but the refs hardly ever even warn them.

Not at all. Bika would be DQ'd early in every fight if the refs somewhat enforced the rules. But apparently that's his "style" to be dirty so its ok

He's easily the dirtiest fighter in the boxing, if you can call that what he does boxing

If he were from Oakland or Philadelphia, you'd be defending him.

I'm not saying Bika is always a clean fighter, I'm saying the referee should be FAIR.

There is really no way to know if the referee or the judges will be fair until the fight happens. As an American I am ashamed to say we have become unfair to fighters from other countries much of the time. That referee clearly wanted a Dirrell victory and he refereed the fight as if he was Dirrell's uncle. He took a point away from Bika for a low blow when Bika had not been previously warned for hitting low and that's unusual. The punch was low but not intentionally low. As for hitting Dirrell when he was down Bika started the punch before Dirrell went down. Yes, Bika is a very rough fighter but he shouldn't have points taken away or be threatened with a DQ unless he actually breaks the rules. I thought Bika clearly Won a close fight. I think the powers that be want Dirrell to win his title and he will have to win big to get the decision. His best bet to keep his title is to go for the KO.
