This has been awhile in coming.

Kell Brook could have had a shot at a major belt before this weekend. He bided his time. A fight with Devon Alexander didn’t come to pass. Will he wish it had?

It’s certainly looking like a fun question.

And it’s at Stub Hub.

As fans in Southern California have learned, fights just tend to break out in that particular outdoor arena. Even without the locale, this looks the part. Brook and Porter have both been in crowd pleasers before.

Both in the flush of youth and prime, how can this miss?

Wow Boxingscene has these guys matching up pretty evenly. I think they 're selling Porter short, he's going to prove he's more than a B+ in power.

You wish to give a fighter with a 60% KO ratio more than B+? Wtf.

Rold is being nice on Porter's power. I definintely feel Brook has the more power, but then again he's being nice on Brook in terms of speed. Porter is a fair bit quicker than Brook. I would give Brook a B or B- and Porter probably B+.

I think Brook is quicker than you give him credit for. We shall see
