I've only seen him get caught by that Karass punch. A really good punch he didn't see coming. Took him only a second or two to regain composure.

He seems to have a fine chin to me.

Diaz may need to check his head after Thurman checked it for him.
Consider the source. Of course Diaz praises Porter, he almost beat him. Getting KOd is less painful than a long fight, Diaz doesn't remember how painful that looked. Kovalev gets hit, 3G gets hit, Thurman and Porter get hit. Search and destroy, damn the torpedos. Diaz has a professional jealousy, Thurman must be better.

Of course Diaz would say that, he had a competitive first fight with Porter and got a draw (although I thought he lost), while Thurman destroyed him.

Stylistically I think the fight suits Thurman. Porter relentlessly comes forward and Thurman can punch on the backfoot, I think Porter could walk into something big. If Porter fights more cautiously though, Thurman would outbox him. Thurman's got a good jab, great footwork and quality all-round boxing ability.

I'm 60-40 in favour of Thurman, but it would definitely be a competitive fight.

Thurman was dropped hard and hur really bad in one of his earlier fights. I forget the opponent.

What do the Porter people think his chances of beating Thurman are now after he lost to Brook? The same? Less? Thurman would crush Porter if he lunges straight in the way he did against Brook. Even though Brook did do too much holding, he made Porter look one dimensional by countering his monotonous forward attack. Porter is going to have to alter his style a little bit to stay on the elite Welterweight level. Brook definitely exposed him in their fight.
