Another, far simpler explanation is, you're wrong and don't want to admit it. Your eyes are telling you one thing but your desire to contradict me will do another. And BTW if anyone wear stilettos, that would be Oscar.

Contradiction? Not really, just playful banter. You shouldn't be so delicate. Answers No.3 & 4 are mostly/partially correct. That and the fact that people naturally have a tendency to loose height as they age and start to slouch as their abs weaken. Why No.3? Osteoporosis is a major health concern related to ******* abuse & osteoporosis causes height loss. The camera angle and Oscar being 20" behind probably isn't helping much ether.
