But thanks for posting pictures, proving my point.

Alexander might stretch to 5'8 actually, but Brook is at the very least 1½ inches taller and immensely bigger than Alexander.
He said himself the other day he was 5'6 - So how.... oh wait.
You looked at Boxrec I see.
Well done, tip of the hat.Last edited by LacedUp; 08-15-2014, 09:18 AM.

Big questions for this fight:
1. Who is the better ring general? - On the inside and on the ropes, Porter should be in charge. Porter is stronger, throws a lot more punches and is used to being a pressure fighter. In the middle of the ring, Brook should be in charge. Brook is quicker, throws straighter punches and has an excellent jab. Whichever fighter is able to dictate where the fight is fought is the probable winner.
2. Can Brook overcome Porter's punch output? - Porter is a pressure fighter with a big output. Simplistic to say it, but in general, the fighter who throws the most punches, lands the most punches and the fighter who lands the most punches usually wins. This could be a very tight fight on the scorecards should it get that far and Brook can't afford to leave the rounds close, because Porter is going to get the decision based on workrate. Brook needs to find a way to slow Porter down or simply not let him get his punches off. Brook needs to be first everytime with his jab and straight right, then use footwork to force Porter to reset. If he can do it, he stands a good chance, if he can't you'd have to back Porter.
3. Who can hurt who? - I'm not going to go into the classic Tyson cliche about plans and then getting hit, but it's the simple truth. You can throw tactics and style-clashes out of the window if one fighter has the type of power to hurt the other. Brook is known as a good puncher, if not a one-shot power fighter, but his power is untested at this level. Porter wasn't known as much of a puncher, but then he showed it against the usually granite-chinned Malignaggi. Was this a fluke on Porter's part, or has he developed power to go with his pressure style? Theoretically they both have the power to end it at any time, but we don't conclusively know how hard each fighter hits yet.
