What the hell did Ward "defame"? Goosen is a nobody and all these lawsuits are doing is ensuring that people know who NOT to sign to. Ward got out of his slave contract and now the guy wants to drag him through the mud.

The article on boxing scene never says if this prevents him from fighting. I'm assuming it does considering the guy that ward is suing has ward under contact. This is becoming so messy, this news definitely affects the potential showdown between ward and kessler. I'm bummed

In my knowledge, there has been no order issued saying he legally couldnt fight.

But why would such an order be issued

Initially I had the same opinion, but with this recent news of goossen actually suing Andre Ward with Ward being currently under contract from Goossen--will goossen pull the strings to make Ward not legally allowed to fight(i could see lawyers finding a way to do this). An interesting scenario, boxing is soooo dirty.

Im not sure what you are asking. There's no way Andre can fight in the US without Goossen promoting him.
