Just saying. Chris Byrd is too forgettable. Valuev scares me. Toney is all right but he hasn't done anything at heavyweight. Too bad he failed the drug test for the Ruiz fight. Hasim Rahman hasn't done anything to deserve his title. VK retired and he got it by default.

brewster (now that vitali's gone) is the only HW champion who wins by KO. and winning by KO or TKO is how HW champions should win. valuev cant do it, rahman doesnt do it, byrd sure as hell cant do it, so its up to brewster to be the respectable HW champion.

I like Toney and Wlad more but Brewster seems exciting. He hasn't been a mainstream (amongst even boxing fans) fighter since the WLad fight and its not like he looked remotely good in that one so his big fight on Showtime on free preview weekend could help launch another big fight. I would like to see him back in the ring with Wlad one more time

That makes sense. Wlad is his number one contender for the WBO title. He deserves another shot.

Yeah Lamon Brewster and Wladimir Klitshcko are my two favorite heavyweights....and I've clearly stated in the past I think they are the two best.

I'm surprised no one has come to bash Wlad yet.

Hating on Wlad is ****ing ****** and unwarranted. That's all there is to it.

I know. I am not a Wlad fan, but I can keep it to myself without making 20 threads about it. But usually within the first ten posts someone starts up with it.

my favorite heavyweight is fres oquendo, he will be the next unified hw champ, he has great technical ability and the most power out of all the heavyweights, plus a granite chin..

okay i was kidding, right now the most exciting fighter in the division I'd have to say is Wlad. Because you never know with Wlad, will he come to the fight in excellent condition, or be unfocused and get ktfo. Plus, when he takes shots, its always interesting to see vitali's worried look outside the ring. then of course you get to look forward to vitali's challenge to whoever ktfos wlad, after the fight's over. Wlad really impressed me wth Sam Peter, just when I thought he was on his way out he did that. You just never know with the guy.

while wlad is the most exciting heavyweight, I have to give Sam Peter the #2 award for most exciting heavyweight. a slugger with that much strength just hits with such devastating force, although a little slow on his shots, he will refine in the future. he's in the rough, and the beating he took from wlad will only better him, much like taylor's beating from hopkins bettered him, only taylor got the ud's, but I think taylor was the guy who learned more in those bouts than say, hopkins learned from taylor.

#1 favorite heavyweight is james toney, though. i just appreciate his technical ability, the way he sits so comfortably in there just slipping the jab and landing his straight right hand, very poised and he has a good chin too...and the smartass personality is just icing on the cake, you cant tell me you dont get a kick out of toney every time he rips on the top HW's.
