    Nugaev-Shafikov

The winner becomes the IBF mandatory to Miguel Vasquez. Shafikov fought Vasquez in his last fight and Nugaev has put on some entertaining shows on FNF in the past year. This fight is going under-the-radar.... It could be a very entertaining fight.

Nugaev's record is a bit deceptive. He's won all of his fights in America and he's 13-1 since 2006, his other 5 losses were prior to 2006 in disputed decisions. His only loss since 2006 is against Alisher Rahimov. He's limited and one-dimensional, but he's very tough and has a granite chin. Non-stop action.

Shafikov is more polished and the better boxer but he likes to fight too.... this could be a war.

    Who wins?

Yeah, this is going to be a war. Shafikov will oblige in the war, since he was hugged to death by Vazquez and would rather make a fight out of it. Nugaev will have a big size advantage, and it's going to be fun watching his Margarito style go to work. I've liked what I've seen from Nugaev in his recent outings. He's strung together some fine workmanlike performances. Shafikov can do more but he's going to have to be at his best to come out a winner here.

Yeah, he's going to be a handful for Shafikov. This is a 50/50 fight. I honestly have no idea who will win.
