Mandatory challenger Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) of Sheffield has warned IBF welterweight world champion Shawn "Showtime" Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) that he better expect fireworks on Saturday night, when they trade punches at he StubHub Center in Carson, California. The fight will headline a world championship tripleheader live on SHOWTIMEŽ (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT).

Brook, fighting in the champion's backyard, is very confident of returning back to the UK with the world title around his waist. He does expect some rough moments, where the two of them will trade big punches at close range.

Unfortunately I have to agree. I've seen Brook in one dog fight..... and he lost that to Carson Jones. Fair enough he smashed him in the rematch but that was with Brook coming in well over 147 lbs! Porter takes him out round 8

I'd prefer Brook to win, but I don't think it will go that way. I doubt the fight will end early. Brook will have to get a KO to cause an upset... even if he outboxes Porter, Porter will get a hometown nod.

Whatever, I like them both, just home the outcome isn't controversial... let the best man win!
