Boxing is a business and nobody knows that more than former Junior Middleweight champion Ishe Smith whose scheduled fight with Erislandy Lara was cancelled in order for Lara to fight Saul “Canelo”Alvarez this past July instead. That fight is now over and Smith is ready to pick up right where he left off and get his crack at Lara.

“I want to go to the Cuban boxing school that Canelo went to. I got to go buy some different shoes, I’ll tell you that. I got to go get some track shoes and try to catch him but I think we have unfinished business there so I want to finish that off. I allowed him to go [fight Canelo] and now we just have to finish that off so if I have my say in the situation, I would like to fight him next” Smith would inform BoxingScene.

I am not kidding when I say this: I would rather watch paint dry then have to sit through 12 rounds of watching Ishe Smith fight anybody other then a glorified brawler who will attack him like a madman

Lara wouldn't need to run from Ishe because he can't punch. The only fight worse than this is Molina/Ishe, and that **** was horrible. At least Lara has the power to have a chance at a stoppage.
