Well he ducked Rios a few years ago when Rios stopped Alvarado. Rios called JMM out, and they were campaigning in the same division at the time from what I recall.
JMM was shook and didn't want the risk of blowing a PAC fight he desired.
JMM clearly ducked Provodnikov recently. That was sad especially the excuse he gave. Paraphrasing: "Facing Provodnikov will do nothing for me". Instead, JMM faced Alvarado whom Provo beat down convincingly.
if you were a badass boxer and you were offered a 40 million fight against either mayweather or pac and you fought pac, then youare ducking floyd and vice versa.
