Guerrero is in the lower part of the top 10 welterweights so this is the first contender Khan has fought since he was KOed by Garcia if this fight happens. Guerrero has average hand speed and doesn't have the very fast, explosive punches that put Khan at risk of being KOed. Khan has a good chance to win and it would be his first really good win over a quality opponent in years. Guerrero does have the power to KO Khan if he lands his best punches. A clear loss would be big setback for either guy but a clear win puts them back in the title picture. It's an interesting fight.

unless khan wins by big KO imo this isnt the fight to get him mayweather in may.

he should go against the porter-brook winner. if he wins that he has a win over a bona fide contender - and a title to go with it. a match with mayweather then becomes a unification.
