Why did it take Brooks 10 years to get a major title shot?

He had a lot of issues over the last 4-6 years over here, there was a time he couldnt stay out of trouble, His then promoter (Fwank warren) and his trainer ingle did try to make him go the right path but it wasnt easy. It has been a long road for him and this is an opportunity he cannot let go especially with all the people that has invest so much time in him.

A couple of people I met from Sheffield said he was a well known cokehead in the area. Don't know how trustworthy they are though
