Why don't more boxers wrecklessly call out more boxers? Here's just a recent example - Brian Kenney nearly had to pry the words out of Adrian Broner when asked about a fight for the 140 titles with Danny Garcia.

Why are they so careful? Litigations? Scared? What is it?

I wont say its fear so much as its greed (these guys are professional boxers after all). They want the easiest path with the easiest money. They want to come off as a man that takes all challenges but its bs. Their dream is what danny got on saturday. Make a half a mil or whatever to fight a no hoper.

Because "talk to my promoter" or "i'll do whatever my team says" or rather than call out the next guy has been seen as a reasonable excuse for fans of name fighters not to hold them accountable for taking BS fights.

Because there's probably a plan in place to set up Lucas and Broner after their showcase fights in September

Not just Broner though, that was just a fresh example. For as blunt as some of these boxers are a lot of them answer those questions extremely careful.

Like Canelo not really saying **** about Cotto after his "victory" over Lara..... Grey tried to get it outta him but he didn't budge. He and GB have a plan in ace to set that fight up in May next yr.

To be fair, it usually is the manager who selects the opponent, not the fighter himself. Just sayin.

Smart tactic. Deflect all of the blame and responsibility on matchmakers/advisers/managers/promoters who hide behind the scenes and rarely talk to the media.

I was pretty wasted by the time Canelo talked that night but yeah, if that's what happened then there you go, another example.
