Hard-hitting Filipino southpaw Randy “Razor” Petalcorin will fight Panama’s Walter Tello for the WBA light flyweight Interim title at the new Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China on August 26.
The 22 year old Petalcorin who has a record of 21-1-1 with 16 knockouts is ranked No. 2 by the WBA while the 27 year old Tello who is ranked No. 6 has a record of 20-7 with 8 knockouts is an experienced fighter who has fought three times for world titles, his last attempt being against Peru’s Alberto Rossel against whom he dropped a close twelve round unanimous decision on March 16, 2013.
