I rooted for Matthysse and had no problem admitting Garcia won a rather competitive fight. I think nobody hyped Matthysse like Schaeffer, he's the one that said he was "the new Manny Pacquiao"...

The issue isn't picking Matthyse to win or hyping up like his promoter was doing.. The issue is way beyond that, but it's ok because I know what the thread starter is trying to say. The fact is Garcia winning that fight would never allow some people to get over that Matthyse defeat.

The TS is an alt of either the freedom/slimshandy69/mr fantastic set, the thuggery/Garcia's dad race baiters crew, or the beercules/hectari/spoon23 wing of manny's fanbase. everyone of the posts/threads have the same intention-get posters mad at someone who fights on showtime.

They not only were shocked and hurt at the defeat but were also the ones claiming Garcia was scared and wouldn't even take the fight....hence the anger and **** pain and discomfort ....

Well at least they have the theory and speculation of a Garcia loss in the imaginary rematch.

They were crucifying Garcia back then. Haha. Making Forest Gump run gifs, everything. Saying he would never take the fight, and then when he did, they began the countdown of his death.

After the fight, they were all shedding tears. Making every excuse in the book. Ahhhh, such classic times. I enjoyed when Martinez lost to Cotto. Some of the same cry baby stuff was happening as the first round begun.
