Maybe. I am sure it contributed to his demise. Actually, if the ref hadn't helped Buster Douglas with the super late count when he got knocked down, Tyson would've won via stoppage because Buster was a quitter and didn't wanna get up, really. The ref allowed him too much time.

Go watch it again. Buster was ready to get up as soon as he needed to. If the ref took too long then good for Buster. Go ahead and count along with most ten counts and see if they're not long.
