Puto Espinoza probably saying "Salka came to fight tonight! So we're going to be working closely with Al Haymon and see if Mayweather vs. Salka can be done in May. Since Salka showed up for the fight..errr I mean showed heart in the fight. He won his chance to face Mayweather. Danny Garcia himself agrees he should sit this one out and let Salka face Mayweather because Danny Garcia just had a tough, tough, fight beating up a little kid. Angel Garcia thinks his son needs a year off from fighting the best guy ranked at #77."

PASS ON THIS IMPORTANT NEWS TO THE REST OF THE INTERNET.. PREFERABLY TO DANNY GARCIA, ESPINOZA, AND GBP.

    Good day.

      misdirected anger

Espinoza is the reason Hbo had to step up their game. He's been bringing us good fights for the past two years. He's the reason we now demand better under cards from hbo. We the fans have been getting treated to more boxing and better over all cards. Most of you don't understand the business. Espinoza didn't put the card together, he bought it. But what happens if he doesn't buy it? The competition buys it, and he possibly burns a bridge with the real ******* which is Al Haimen. The dude's(Stephen) is in a tough position. I see this as a good thing for boxing because now they(promoters and managers) know we won't stand for this ****. Not entirely Stephen's doing, he just happens to be the last one holding the grenade.

Wow...Stephen Espinoza made a NSB account.

It has to be noted that all three of the favorites are advised by the ever-increasing influential Al Haymon. But Espinoza makes it clear that green-lighting these B-sides was his call. “I will be very up front; I chose those opponents. Those were not forced upon me; it wasn’t leveraged. There’s a long history to how we got there but at the end; I approved, Golden Boy [Promotions] approved. Management, advisers, the fighters approved. So the reality is, if you approve that decision – like I did — then you’ve got to be able to say, ‘Sure, I’ll stand up and defend it.’”

Espinoza did bring us a bunch of stacked cards and he did put pressure on HBO to step up their game.

But that was last year. He can't live off of 2013 forever, and if he gives us any more Rob Salkas the fans won't put up with it for very long before we turn our backs on Showtime.

Say what you will but fans are intelligent. I'd rather watch a chess match in the ring than a bunch of stacked tomato cans to see who can smash the hardest. The freak show's in MMA, Keep boxing competitive! !

This is the reason I left corporate life years ago to work for me and make my own rules and answer to no one. This guy is just being the squeaky clean little company yes-man they hired him for. He'll probably keep the job long as he wants it.

So here it is for all to see, that big huge 6 feet thick stainless steel wall between we boxing fans and the powers that run the sport. And the band played on.

Hey, just don't get comfortable. This won't be the only crapola boxing card we have to deal with. It WILL happen again.

What do you expect Espinoza to say? He was the one who approved this fight card knowing that it was completely bogus. He's basically just a high paid used car salesmen who's trying to convince you that his offering to the boxing viewers is much better than advertised. It's all smoke and mirrors with network execs who have something to hide or reason to lie. They still collect their check at the end of the day so they don't mind bull****ting the fans.
