They should of called that card Flying Fists for all the punches those 2 threw, expected from Takayama that's his game but Chihuas was game as well w/power which edged it for him.

There was about 3-4 rounds of the year candidates add the FS1 card this weekend wasn't to bad if you watched the right fights.

Can't Wait for Yaegashi/Gonzalez--- Estrada/Segura those will have a little more skill with the same savagery.

Rodriguez-Takayama just took a Secretariat at Belmont lead on the field for Fight of the Year. Wall to wall action for 12, one ****ty scorecard. Just a great, great fight. Kudos to both little bad asses.

Fight of the year!!! Amazing. I knew this was going to be great so I didn't even bother to try to tune to the other card (the farce/fraud/charade full of mismatches) and this Rodriguez-Takayama fight ended being one of the most memorable match I've ever watched.

Amazing fight, 1 judge was blind but the fight was amazing. In the space of a week we've had Herrera/Clay, Takayama/Rodriguez and we're still awaiting Iwabuchi/Obara

What a series of days. When this sport delivers it REALLY delivers.

I agree 100. Both gave it their all and when their bodies seemed too tired, they dug deep and gave us a glorious 12 round fight filled with drama and action. Chihuas has been performing stupendously in a continuous fashion for a while. His fight vs Serbillo was nothing short of action packed as well, that's a primary reason behind my push for an Oswaldo vs FR Jr showdown. If you thought this was bad ass, wait until this fight happens(crossing fingers).

Can't wait for a purist to run in here and say this isn't boxing.

They weren't hitting and not getting hit, they were swimming and GETTING wet. Blah blah of such, lol. Whether it's a boxing masterpiece or an all out barnburner that burns down an entire countryside, they are all the grains of sand that solidify the foundation of our favourite sport. Hope everyone who watched enjoyed and possibly garnered some new found respect towards the little guys, regardless of their stature their greatness should be measured from their titanic feats.

While Showtime cashed out on some 3rd tier duds that merely created ripples, beneath the surface 2 sharks were pitted against each other. 105 and 112 = Excitement to the highest degree in boxing at the moment IMO.
