Wow are you serious? I'll give you Bradley vs Casamayor was crap but even that wasn't this bad. Bradley vs Provo? That was FOTY. Provo-Algeri? what was wrong with that. Algeri-Pac isn't good but it's not even close to this level. Rios-Murray was a great fight and on paper (and ultimately in the ring) Rios-Chaves was the closest thing we've gotten to a 50/50 this year. Top to bottom this was possibly the worst card I've ever seen in my life. The underdogs DIDN'T WIN ONE ROUND
Is this the future for boxing under Haymon

For someone who doesn't like to be in the spotlight like Haymon does, he sure is f ucking that up. Now everyone knows him and all boxing fans now despise that weasel.Comment

algieri and Provodnikov were supposed to be like this fight a showcase fight and build up promo fight for something better both Chaves and Murray were coming back from being knocked the **** out and chosen to be an easy KO for Rios.Wow are you serious? had Garcia struggled tonight or had Salka hurt him and Garcia had to fight through adversity to get a close decision win in FOTY contender would that made you feel better about Haymon and this card?Comment

Yes it absolutely would have but it was impossible, how was he going to hurt him? It looked like a middleweight fighting a lightweight in there and the lightweight has 3ko's. How on earth could he have hurt him. Chaves was a 1.5-1 underdog, how on earth was he put in there to be an easy KO. Many picked him to win and he was winning. Murray wasn't a world beater but he was in that division and a decent guy in it, he gave Brandon a good fun fight. Provo was not suppose to be a showcase fight, the Bradley camp even said themselves that he was the last person they wanted to fight. I would have taken Algeri for Garcia over this even before the Provo fight, he was an undefeated contender in his division.algieri and Provodnikov were supposed to be like this fight a showcase fight and build up promo fight for something better both Chaves and Murray were coming back from being knocked the **** out and chosen to be an easy KO for Rios.

I think the biggest on paper mismatch you've listed was Pac-Algeri which is like 10-1, which I will not be buying bc it's not a good matchup. This was 33-1 and played out exactly like that as did the 15-1 fight and the 9-1 fight ALL ON THE SAME NIGHT. The underdogs didn't win a round!!! My god I just don't get you Haymon groupies. Do you not want to see good fights? Do you enjoy these garbage cards?Comment

Can't tell if you're trolling, but if you aren't, you're confused.algieri and Provodnikov were supposed to be like this fight a showcase fight and build up promo fight for something better both Chaves and Murray were coming back from being knocked the **** out and chosen to be an easy KO for Rios.

From what I've heard, TR agreed to show Chaves in a couple fights after Rios. Algieri and Provodnikov were ranked contenders.
Tonight's fight was between two guys with a big difference in size, and an even bigger gap in class -- both in the "champion's" favor.
... It seems that Danny's team treated this as a comeback fight. Which I don't have a problem with; he lost his last fight. It was just disrespectful that they tried to play us for fools by saying how excited we should be to watch it.Comment

Yes this is the future for Showtime at least. A turd masquerading as a tasty chocolatey treat. You can't fool us, Mr. Haymon and neither can your partner in crime Mr. Stephen Espinoza.Comment

I swear people have either short memory or just blinded by hate how the **** would Provodnikov be a ranked contender if he never fought in the division before? who has Algieri ever beat to make him a contender? Can't tell if you're trolling, but if you aren't, you're confused.

Which of the fighters you mentioned are ranked 77th in their divisions?
To answer the OP's question, I don't believe things could continue in the same vein as tonight's "show". I streamed tonight's fight and one of things that struck me was how smooth the broadcast was. With a fight involving a big name the stream is usually choppy due to the stream having to be shared among so many people. The bigger the fight the worse the stream. Tonight's broadcast was possibly the smoothest I ever recieved. What's all the more telling is that in the earlier fights (Jacobs vs Fletcher and Peterson vs Santana) the streams were quit choppy, at least more so than the "main event".
I believe this event will have shitty numbers indeed.Comment
