Comments Thread For: Salka Admits: Danny Garcia in a Lose-Lose Situation

"Lightning" Rod Salka (29-3, 3KOs) admits that WBC/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia is in a lose-lose situation later tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The two fighters will battle over ten non-title rounds at a catch-weight of 142-pounds.

Fans were not happy with the selection of Salka for the fight. Salka says Garcia is going to take heat regardless of the outcome. If Garcia wins very early, then every critic will validate their claim of Salka being a mismatched opponent. And if Garcia is extended the distance, then his worth as an A-level fighter will be questioned.

700k to fight salsa does not seem like much of a lose lose situation.

I agree this is a lose-lose situation for Danny. If Danny KO's Salka withing 1 second of the 1st round...he wont get the credit for it because Salka moved up 3 weight classes & was the 77th best ranked at his weight class.

On the other hand if Salka puts a decent fight & goes the distance..Danny will be hated on for not making quick work of Salka.

Danny should grow a pair & demand who he wants to fight like Canelo does. I think Danny, Haymon & Showtime all are to blame for this shyt.

LOL. Don't worry, Porter Vs Brook is coming up next week. That should be entertaining! Really looking forward to Porter's performance after he beat the hell out Malignaggi

Definitely a lose-lose situation for Ron Salsa because his picked as an easy win for Danny. And if by some miracle Salsa did win, Danny still gets to keep his belts.
