Did anyone ever consider that these guys have polar opposite personalities. I'll admit I'm on one side of the tracks in this seemingly white vs black fan favorites, but I don't think it has to do with race (I'm speaking about myself, I'm sure it is racial for others.)
GGG, Kovalev and Loma, yes they are white but they also have similar personalities. All very humble guys which I appreciate. I like a guy that does all of his talking in the ring. I don't like GGG's trainer constantly saying how great he is, he annoys the **** out of me. FLoyd and Broner do the same to me. While they show their talent in the ring, they must constantly tell us how great they are. I was a big Floyd fan up until about the Mosely/Ortiz fight. Then his act just got so old and tired and he was given more and more opportunity to flaunt it. I don't need you to tell me how good you constantly, also I don't care about you making a lot of money. Broner, although I could never take listening to him I appreciated his talent during his lightweight reign until the Rees fight. Now I can't take him because he's just as loud and about half as dominating.
That being said, while I root against these guys, I wouldn't say I'm "upset about their rise"
