Going to Vegas to Mayweather's fight..Have Questions??!!

I am going to Vegas for 6 days to watch Mayweathers fight and have questions so please people if you have been there before can you answer them.

I am paying $650 for the ticket for like the seats way up there at the back but I have heard that the mgm is pretty small so it won't be as I am expecting?

I going to Vegas with my siblings but I am going to the fight alone as not all of us could afford the tickets, so going alone isn't going to be too bad is it? I am just a huge boxing fan

Any Boxing memorabilia shops to check out?

Also I know it's Vegas and everyone goes to party and get wasted but I actually don't drink or party that much due to various reasons so it's not gona be to boring is it? like there are still other things to do in vegas? also the box fight fan expo is on the same day as Floyds fight so I am so pumped to meet Tyson and Roy Jones and many more!!!

    Thanks

I hope somebody can answer your questions. I'd like to catch a Floyd fight in Vegas myself before he retires and this info can come in handy for anyone that wants to go.

There isn't a bad seat in the house. Your good.

I always go solo. Always meet people at the fight. Always have a great time. No worries.

Any Boxing memorabilia shops to check out?
They sell T-shirts and posters at the MGM. Plus check out the glass case with Floyd's robes, trunks and championship belts in the front of the hotel.

Plenty to do, especially during fight week. They will have an itinerary and you can attend media day workouts, fighter arrivals, weigh in, etc. Make sure you arrive early to the weigh in. Plus they always have a small card in a different hotel during the week where you can get tix for like $25. All of the fighters will be there so you can take pics and get autographs. It might be worth it to get ringsides for that card so you can get closer. I sat next to Errol Spence at a Wednesday night card.

the arena itself yes is obviously alot smaller then a football stadium.. but its not small. if you're paying 600$ like u said yea u will be in the back. you will be able to see the action lol. you're not going to need any binoculars.

theres always stuff to do. i truly believe this, the only city in the US that can compare to craziness of las vegas is new york city. i left at 3am and people were still everywhere.

a lot of homeless people, smokers, and garbage lying on the streets lol.

but its fun. yes theres a boxing store in ceasers palace. its right by this sports memorabilia place where i met jerry rice. they have all kinds of cool stuff in there but if a famous person is there u have to pay to just get in lol. the boxing store is cool and they have ufc stuff too. all kinds of retro fight posters and fight shirts. pac, mayweather, broner, all kinds of stuff. its really cool.

You're gonna have the time if your life. As said before, you're good no matter where ur seat is. I was there for Mayweather vs Maidana I and it was unreal. Make sure u go to the weigh in, it's free and they give away tshirts and other memorabilia. There should be a few performances before the weigh in as well. Any where u go wether u drink or not Will be instant edutainment.

Hang out at the MGM before the fight. Doing that I have met Roger Mayweather, Sergio Martinez, Andre Dirrell, Yuri Gamboa, and many more. Lots to do and most of the fighters are cool.

where are you coming from and how much are you paying for everything? I plan to do the same at some point so I want to have a good idea of how much I will spend.

              Thanks

I bet the weigh-in atmosphere is crazy, especially if they let people in for free.

I'm from a small country in Europe and I went to the Mayweather-Maidana I fight all by myself. Had a blast. Met so many nice people, talked boxing during the event and in lines. It will be totally fine going by yourself.

I had the same tickets (same prize range) as you and it was fine, just to be there is amazing.

And yes hang around the MGM as M.I Truth wrote, I met a lot of fighters there. I actually met Maidana the day after the fight, he was really nice - taking pictures with everyone. Down to earth guy.

Vegas is a fun city, you can't get bored even if you don't drink a lot. Eat nice food, gamble a bit, watch the people around you, go to some famous hotspots.

PBP pretty much answered everything like I would. Also checkout Red Rock Canyon and most of all Freemont street experience. No one talks about it in here but that place is great
