I think Rigo and GGG are proving their greatness right now. As for a younger future great I like the chances of Canelo who just turned 24 and Santa Cruz and Thurman both 25. I don't think Garcia will make it. He is very good but I think he is not improving and not acting like a great fighter at all. He is not 25 and he turned 26 on March 20th. I think the best fighter he ever beat, Matthysse is actually a better fighter and would prove it in a rematch. If Kovalev KOs Hopkins he could be on his way to greatness.
Where's the next Great Fighter?

So where is he? Have you guys seen any up and comers or prospects who might match the abilities of someone who may be a future ATG?
I know there's a lot of top level fighters currently and some young guys too, who in their early to mid 20s have made some strides but no one is really blowing away top level opposition at a young age, where's the next young Tyson, Leonard, Ali, Oscar, Pacquiao...these guys were beating world level opponents before they even turned 25 and on most occasions made it look easy. They also became stars in the process but I can't see anyone currently to match that level of talent and skill.
Danny Garcia looked tremendous and is still only 25 but his last fight and current opponent aren't exactly eye openers. Canelo looks very good but he has yet to decimate a top level 154 pounder. It's ab it frustrating that top divisional rankings or P4P top 10s are mostly dominated by fighters the wrong side of 30.
Naoya Inoue
He won the WBC Light Flyweight Championship in his 6th pro fight. And he has beaten opponent with really good records

Lots of good points, Rigo is too old already to be a true great, maybe second or third tier but no higher, plus he is hesitant to fight often and/or move up in weight so I dunno. He has the skills though.I don't think it's gonna be an Al Haymon fighter. He protects his fighters way too much with easy fights for them to be the "next great fighter".
I think of all the Haymon fighters Danny Garcia was on the right path till he fought Hererra. Even though he got the gift decision against Hererra, he should have given the rematch to Herarra instead of fighting Salka (just like Mayweather against Castillo). I have no issues with him not giving Matthysse the rematch, he hurt Lucas & won the bout. This is a huge step down for Garcia, but I think he can bounce back if he takes on a good opponent later this year. Apart from all that Danny speaks English, isn't ugly, has the Puerto Rico crowd behind him & is very marketable.
Canelo: I think Canelo is one of the very few fighters who gets to fight the guys he really wants to fight. Oscar wanted none of Lara for Canelo but Canelo insisted on Lara & got the fight. Irrespective of the controversy of the Lara fight I think Canelo can make it big. Canelo just like Oscar has Mexican supporters, isn't ugly & is marketable. He needs to speak more in English though. He already shares the record for most successful PPV fight against Floyd. He's young & has big names like Cotto, GGG & Kirkland infront of him. Imagine Canelo headlining PPV's at Cinco De Mayo & in September, it would be huge.
Mikey Garcia: If he takes good fights like Gamboa & irons out problems with his promoter.
I think Lomachenko & Rigo have the talent but wont make it big because none of them can speak English & don't connect well with the casual fans. Look at Rigo, Top Rank already had him fighting him on a non televised part of the latest Macau card highlighted by Zou Shimming.
Canelo is probably the best of the lot, his last 4 fights have been Trout, Floyd, Angulo and Lara, that's a terrific run and he's done it all in 18 months or so. I just hope he doesn't get protected from here on in as Oscar is clearly worried about matching him too hard but the Cotto fight looks to be something that will happen over the next few months so that's good.
Inoue, great pick, along with a whole bunch of young, hungry Japanese fighters but two problems:Naoya Inoue

A) They are all very small and will not garner much attention
B) The lower divisions may have some fun action fighters but not too many who would rank highly in ATG lists or P4P lists, so they don't really have the opponents to make them great, unless you move up to super bantam or higher.
No, especially Broner, he does not have the physical tools to fight with the style that he does.Comment

Erroll Spence Jr, Anthony Joshua, Lomachenko, Demetrius Andrade, Terrance Crawford, Jose Benavidez, Frankie Gomez
all are still YOUNG, still in their 20's, all have phenomenal talent
one guy I love and if he ever defects he is going to be a Superstar is Cuban Boxer Robeisy Ramirez Carrazana:
not your typical Cuban fighter, he is still Highly Technical like most Cuban fighters but kinda like Gambao he takes Risk and is bit of a Free Spirit and very confident, has a unique "Pressure Boxer" style, very exciting to watch. Only 20 years old right now but I hope I get to see him as a pro one dayComment
