Jay Z is worth more than half a billion US...

i don't think he's doing it for fun. i don't think he's doing it for money, either. guillermo rigondeaux? the only upside is that you don't have to pay him all that much. you've got to promote the hell out of that guy, or get popular opponents. his style can get boring, even when he's knocking out overmatched opponents.

this might just be publicity. i'm dissapointed if that's the case. i'm still very intrigued. jay z is not a dumb guy, and he knows all of the right people i'm sure.

If Rigo goes for this he must be a lot dumber than I'd ever have thought
Ask those guys that are with Jay Z how dumb it was to pair up with him.

I'll eat humble pie when he works wonders for Rigondeaux's career
Until that unlikely event I'll stick with being cynical as he'll about it and I think I'm **** right

He recently sold his Brooklyn Nets share in order to become an agent in the NBA and he wants to be a MLB agent first.

It certainly wouldn't hurt if you are represented by Jay Z, he seems to be a sports oriented guy. With his money, he could bring some boxers in need of attention what they crave, which is the spotlight.

50 and Jay Z are not comparable at all, we already know Jay Z can deliver, he already has experiencing managing athletes. With 50, well we just Andre Dirrell leave him and while he was with him he fought like once or twice in 3 years on ESPN.
Jay-z is the face, the ***s are the ones fronting the money and pulling the strings.Same **** with everyone saying jay z owned the nets....wrong he had less than 1 percent stake in the team.

No one that can read thought he owned the nets. He owned a share of the Nets, which he recently sold.

That's not saying much, what rapper doesn't mention those two? Makes him sound like a 'new' fan. Jay Z referenced Roy Jones Jr in a 2000 song, 'You, Me, Him and Her' from his Dynasty Roc La Familia album. Jay has also mentioned Tyson in several songs, I think 3 songs.
