      He doesn't know what happened? You were living life for 13 months went into a fight without as much as one round of sparring in over a year...dumb move. The body needs to get used to blunt impact. Make sure your knees are ok and get to f'ing sparring and demand a rematch.

          Preparation is EVERYTHING to a boxer, way even more against an elite fighter, so your post is spot on.

            Who created this myth that Sergio didn't spar? Because it's only a myth.

              I recall he said he suffered from insomnia long before the Cotto fight.

                  Martinez biggest mistake and I say this as his fan is that he went straight into a fight with an elite fighter, You can't have knee surgery, have a layoff and come back in the same form.

                    Dont he got two bum knees and he 38? His style is based on movement and reflexes. Dont know why its bothering him mentally, losing sucks but he must know that most people his age ( which isnt that old) are passed their prime and to be still getting in the ring is incredible giving his condition.
