Makes me admire how strong mentally pac is. Hes in a higher place than martinez when he got ktfo by marquez. His rival for years. The problem with martinez is that he has no life outside of boxing. Ofcourse, itll make moving on harder. Itll make you think about it all the time. He also said a lot of stuffs before the fight that would make him bite his pillow every night starting from the loss. If hes not that mentally ready, he should not make a comeback. He put every bit of his pride in that fight. Cotto took his soul. Just like pacquiao took delahoyas.

This is a good point, Martinez normally doesnt talk **** but he did it big time with cotto and made the fight personal, then when he lost its really going to **** his head in. If you dont talk ****, like Pac or Wlad, then when you get KOed its much easier to just say, well its boxing and that can happen, Ill come back stronger. Martinez was physically finished after the Chavez Jr fight, when he opted for the medical treatment in Spain... He would have badly needed a highly professional medical assistance in the U.S.

He is a competitor so yes I am sure it is very frustrating especially considering the streak he was on. Maybe a fight before Cotto would have helped to test that knee and shake off some rust but I will be honest I don't think it would have helped. Once he hurt that knee I knew he would never be the same because of his STYLE which is unfortunate
