  • Comments Thread For: Brook: If Chocolate Brownie Right Lands, I'll Finish Porter

If Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) manages to get IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) in trouble, he's very confident that he will finish him off. Porter defends his title against Brook in the main event of a Showtime televised tripleheader on August 16th from the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Brook's promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, is banking on a late knockout win. Brook is confident about victory but won't go as far as to predict a stoppage. However, Brook warns that if he lands a flush right hand - he will close the show in very same round. Brook has stopped his last four opponents in eight rounds or less.

The fact that this fight is at Stubhub let's me know it's going to be a fun night. That place is a hotbed for action.

I don't care what he calls the right hand as long as he brings it to Porter, who I think knocks him out. We'll see.

Wow, Kell Brook really likes to refer to himself in the third person, doesn't he? Also calling himself a lion. What a putz. Not even p4p1, floyd, refers to himself in the third.

Still, I think he is going to beat Porter. I'm not sold on Porter, unfortunately, not someone to beat Brook anyway.
