Re watched kessler vs ward

OK. Ward was fighting like chaves but without the eye poking. Kellser has a real case for heatbutting and clinching. It was unbelievable, double standard?

why do posters advocate rough, dirty and illegal tactics so average fighters can defeat great boxers like Ward then complain when thos great boxers use those tactics in retatliation to win?

It was so clearly Ward's tactic to use his head as a weapon in this fight. That and hold and hit and hold to disrupt the flow of his opponent. I remember the headbutting started as early as round 2.

Luckily for Ward, the referee was in the mood of doing nothing about it. At least not against Ward. Funny thing is that Kessler was told that HE would be DQ'ed if he held.

dude, you just made up a lie and said that "kessler was getting head butted in round 2" when there was 0 butts in round 2. thats one of rounds kessler was picked apart, out fought & schooled. kessler needed a knock down or a knock out before even the first butt landed...........

Ward won in cheap, boring, dirty fashion. You can be happy with a win, but you better be happy with Maidana's performance against Mayweather or think he won. Andre Ward is simply the opposite of Dirrell, instead of running like scared b*tch to not get hit Ward hugs like a whipped child.

The sequence I was thinking about was not in round 2. I can see that from the vid you posted. It was instead in round 3 where Kessler hurts Ward with a right hand and Ward then immidiately throws his head up in Kessler's face.

In round 2 I don't think any headbutts landed really well, but you can see how his tactic is to come in headfirst and targeting Kessler's face with his skull.

Every time they get tangled up shouldn't count as an automatic clinch initiated by Ward, on top of that the creator of the video, who I've actually spoken to, won't even acknowledge that Kessler embraced a lot of those clinches. Of course Ward did hold an awful lot but it isn't as bad as many would like to believe, that video proves that.

Also, to the TS, Ward tied up to create infighting, Chaves initiated clinching to prevent contact entirely, major difference.
