Devon "The Great" Alexander has a pretty decent resume in my opinion. He could really well get in the Mayweather sweepstakes if he manages to get two wins against solid welterweights like Thurman, Porter rematch or Guerrero..

Devon has a hell of a resume'

This guy is underrated. He’s campaigned in 2 of the deepest most talent rich divisions in boxing (140 and 147) and been champion 3 times. Somebody explain to me why they think he’s been giving gifts when it makes no sense. Everyone is complaining that a few close decisions went his way, but so what. Other guys including Kahn got destroyed in their losses. Devon’s close wins were mostly due to his work rate. I think a fast excellent boxing southpaw with a chin is our best chance at seeing a competitive fight with Mayweather. This guy faught
          • Bradley
          • Matthysse
          • Maidana
          • Bailey
back to back and only has 1 foul induced loss from that run. Who else in boxing has had a tougher run? Then he beats a guy to submission with one hand (Purdy) and almost shuts out a guy (Soto) that knocked out Berto.

People want more fireworks, but history shows that an exciting strategy often leads to annihilation against that crew. Just ask
          Peterson about Matthysse,
          Broner about Maidana, or
          Jones about Bailey

I rather watch Khan vs Swift rematch at 147 and just have Alexander vs the Ghost on the undercard.

Alexander, Khan Won't Fight ANY Top 10, You Included!!

Khan-job thinks if he talks enough (Shannon Briggs/David Haye style), he can land a lottery payday with Floyd or Manny based on what Khan accomplished in 2010!!! From 2010-2014, Khan found himself getting up off the canvas in nearly every fight. His career went terribly south. He avoided Alexander thinking Floyd could happen ONLY because Khan has that UK following Floyd could bank on; not because Khan had earned the shot. But Floyd got so much backlash for considering Khan, even manufacturing some phony poll as though the public overwhelmingly want Khan next , which was proven later all BS and other polls from Ring Magazine & ESPN clearly had Maidana as the favorite to fight Floyd next. Khan thinks he can avoid all the risks and talk smack to get that home run paycheck. Maybe Khan should fight Thurman? Or Guerrero? He's ducked Kell Brook even who has called out Khan for 2 or 3 years now. I want to see Khan beat up some Top 10, OR go redeem your losses to Garcia or Peterson. Don't call out Andre Berto! Don't call out Karass-Soto! Don't call out Paulie Mags. Don't call out Alvarado or Rios stooges. Let's have Khan fight Provodnikov or Thurman or Guerrero.... Or even Maidana or Matthysee. I promise you Maidana is not the same fighter you won a controversial decision over 4 years ago, and neither is Matthysee, and they both would expose Khan today is not the same guy from 2010. Those two alone would train wreck Khan today. Just don't think you can show up and showcase what you did 4 years ago like that's still credible. Khan won't fight Alexander today. EVEN Bradley is manning up to see if he can get a war with Cotto!!! I don't hear stuff like that coming from Khan who's hoping he has a lucky lottery ticket. How about Thurman first, Khan? You wouldn't last 3 rounds.

LOL!!!!!! The ending to Khan's fights with Prescott & Garcia were RIGHTEOUS!!!! Oh man, was he on ***** Street! And each time he got to his feet he looks to his corner or into the crowd like he's going to cry or like 'please get me out of here!!!' NOW you see why Khan is laboring for a monumental pay day with Floyd or Manny, because he realizes he's One & Done if he fights any of the Top 10 legitimate Welterweights. If he fights Thurman, Guerrero, Provodnikov, Maidana or even Matthysee again, that's the end of the road for Khan. That boy will find out they hit a lot harder at 147 than 140 when you fight the division best. Khan is just that... A khan job.

Gotta respect Devon people, he ducks nobody and calls out everybody.
I would like to see him vs Guerrero so I can watch Guerrero get crucified.
