Russian promoter Kirill Pchelnikov is putting together a show in Kranodar (Russia) in late September and his company has announced that former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. is likely going to headline the card. Jones (58-8, 41KOs), 45-years-continues to fight well beyond his best year. He was last seen in action on July 26th in Riga (Latvia) and stopped overmatched British boxer Courtney Fry in five rounds. If the fight goes forward, it would make it the first time since 2011 where Jones saw action more than once in a single year.

At least he's not peddling on the corner and making a living an honest mans way.

Look fella's, Roys legacy is sealed. All that matters is that he was superman for a decade.

His fast decline and fighting for the money and love at 45 will not change what he accomplished.
