Yes, he gave Perez all he could handle and was a punch or two away from scoring the knockout. Against Perez it took awhile for Takam to warm up and it ultimately cost him the draw. Against Thompson, Takam was very active early on and he coasted through the later rounds. Carlos is a good quality fighter and has an iron chin. It wouldn't surprise me if he beat Povetkin

Povetkin should school the guy,I don't foresee a stoppage.Takam is a monster,an immovable object,if Sascha manages to stop him I'll be even more impressed than the victory over Charr.

Lets see which Povetkin arrives in the ring, the shape he was in against Charr was superb, never looked as well conditioned and committed since his early career.

Great matchup. Povetkin looked sensational in his comeback fight against Charr. Now he's facing one of the underrated fighters in that division. He's working his way back to that title shot and that's great to see.

Quality match up between two bona-fide top HW contenders.

I thought Takam deserved to win that fight (6 rounds to 4).

Very good matchup. Hopefully it turns out better than Jennings-Perez did.
