I agree with you, but Maidana and Algieri were/are title unifications, so despite what people say about their skill levels etc, its good for boxing.

Ortiz took the belt from Berto. Guerrero had interim belts from Aydin and Berto. Maidana took the WBA belt from Broner. Algeri is the WBO Jr. WW champ. I will say Khan is an interesting matchup for both Mayweather and PAC. And he does have a fanbase and can bring in UK dollars.

I just take issue with his obsession and entitlement issues. He needs to face a solid contender before rambling further. If he gets the fight, fine. But he needs to face stiffer competition in the meantime.
