Dang $400. Not bad at all. I haven't found anything that cheap coming out of Corpus Christi, TX yet.

Trust me, that is not the norm. You got an absolute STEAL. I fly to that part of Europe often and pay $1500-1700 always.

Yeah, I waited and waited, to see if it becomes cheaper, I did get a steal. There's one I missed getting it for $750, but it was alright.

If I had waited a little more, I could have gone for free (just pay tax), given my sis is a flight stewardess for Delta. But I couldn't wait, had classes to take, it was going to intervene. Can't wait to go back to Istanbul next year(well hopefully), great city. I'm leaning more towards Rome, Italy. Food was a bit more expensive than I anticipated but that's what I get for staying in a tourist neighborhood.

BTW the $800 ticket was not a cheap airline either, it was Turkish Airlines and it had great service, wow. Turkish Airlines is one of the best air lines i've been on.

What site are you using? Cause I live in Corpus and go back to Minnesota twice a year to visit family and spend between 400-500 every time. I just did a quick search and couldn't find anything for less than 400 from Corpus to NY.

I think the month had a lot to do with it, I went in April of this year and there was a lot of $700-900 round trip tickets at the time. Then I would check again for the same date a week later and it would be at $1500. It fluctuated a lot. My sis told $850 is a bargain, I believed her once I saw how the price would go up to $1500-2000. I mean it's a 9-10 hour flight give or take.

I thought of Madrid or Barcelona, but I really would like to visit Italy first.

Tried expedia, $460 is the lowest I'm seeing for a random week in Nov. The thing is guys in FL get a straight flight, whereas I have to stop in Houston, San Antonio or Dallas cause the airport down here is beyond tiny and only does short flights to a connecting airport.

But I gotta say this is a great idea. It'd be great to see who would be willing to do this and heck, whats better than true boxing fans getting together. We may all disagree on a lot of things, but we can all agree boxing is the ****.
