    Former champion Ruslan Provodnikov (23-3, 16KOs) would like to face Brandon Rios (32-2-1, 23KOs) in a fall clash of punches. Provodnikov is already recovered, physically and mentally, from a June split decision loss to undefeated Chris Algieri. Provodnikov admits that he was properly motivated for the fight with Algieri, who prior to their match was unknown to most boxing fans. Now Algieri will face WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao on November 22nd in Macau.

          This fight makes a lot of sense now. Ruslan coming off a loss. Rios getting a bit of a tuneup and a gift DQ. Both of these guys need something to prove and it'd make for a brutal war.

          Not sure it would go longer than 4 or 5 rounds. Both dudes have chins, but there will be no defense. Will either of them be able to absord the punishment that will be dealt?

                              Ruslan is a straight up brawler. And all 3 of his losses were somwhat very close fights against good boxers in the ultimate bad-style- matchup for him



                              he has his limitations and boxers should be able to outbox him. but his 3 close losses proves he is a problem for anybody and that includes guys who are favored to outbox him. as he has showed
