I don't understand Upsher at all. He hurts Berto every time he punches but he just lets his foot off of the gas.

Probably stamina. He never had a 10 round fight before. He's used to 6 and 8 rounders. Sometimes fighters get it in their head to conserve energy and they overdo it.

Upsher letting his hands go but not enough and in spurts, Berto hasn't improved his defense much but doesn't seem to be affected by Upshers punches either.
