Are the doubters of Brook making the same mistake they made when they thought Maidana wud end Khan?

If Brook does beat Porter, is it comparable to Khans win over Maidana? or is Porter simply not as proven as Maidana?

Not a good comparison at all, Khan had fought at a higher level pre-maidana, and people doubted his chin not his talent or level. Kell Brook is an unknown commodity and I think people are unsure if he is up to this level, not sure he can compete, that is a big difference.
