Comments Thread For: Randall Bailey Targets: I'll Fight Alfonso Gomez For Free!

To the world’s welterweights, former two-time world champion Randall “The Knock-Out King” Bailey (44-8, 37 KOs) is like the dentist’s office… you only go there if you have to and when you do, you’ll probably get drilled.

Being blessed as one of the sport of boxing’s deadliest punchers of the past 20 years has become a curse for Bailey, because he can’t seem to talk anyone into a ring to fight him. Despite his relatively advanced age of 39, Bailey’s mix of a dependable chin and granite fists continue to make him a very dangerous opponent for anyone in the world.

And you might have to, Randall because there might not be anyone willing to pay to see you fight or invest any money in you after that stinker with Alexander.

How about Brandon Rios vs Bailey? I'd pay too watch if Bailey promises he will throw at least 1 right hand per round.

Bailey may have power. He may live a clean life. But if there is 1 thing he lacks, it's stamina and endurance.

No one cares to watch a fight with little to no action. Bailey will spend the better part of the round waiting to counter all night long. And the reality is that he doesn't have a quick enough trigger for that style to be successful.

So what we end up with is a very lackluster fight. Opponents are weary of the power and elect to fight on outside and Bailey ends up throwing 10 or so punches per round.

Bailey...you had your opportunities and blew them. I would suggest that you put more miles in while training. Run 5 miles a day.
